We are excited to announce the Canadian pairing of our gorgeous boy Raiden, resident stud at Twilight Acres, and our flashy girl Talon! We expect to see good bone, size and movement in this litter. This breeding should produce both plush and smooth coat types in sables and duals with the chance of solid black!!

Talon is a very loving girl who is incredibly smart, dedicated, extremely easy to train and always looking to please. Talon is a patient mother who just loves her babies and would like to adopt all the puppies raised at ShadowGate as her own.

Raiden is a big teddy bear who is loved wherever he goes with his laid back temperament and happy outlook. Raiden has passed his Therapy Dog Evaluation and hopes to be doing therapy work in the near future!! Raiden has done very well in the confirmation show ring in 2010 as well! Zeva/Major

Atlantic's Zeva for Shamrock and Semper Fi Major will produce many show quality Shiloh's.  It has been confirmed by OVC that a very large litter will be born the first week of April.  Semper Fi Major is just establishing his reputation, but is off to a flying start.  The genetic  attributes of Carter  have been passed onto his son Major, and if you know Kai-Lyn's Carter of Mt. Airy - what's not to like!

Both Zeva and Major have massive heads, great conformation, large bone structure combined with temperaments  considered  benchmark standards in Shiloh breeding.   At Shamrock Shiloh's we have spared no expense or distance to introduce the very BEST into our breeding program.

We are both thrilled and grateful not only to Virginia Storey (the match-maker), and the consent of Barb and Doug Kirtley of Semper Fi Shilohs, and Dr. Mike and Christina  Smith with this breeding, but also for their enthusiasm and expectation of this litter being a significant  contribution to the growing and very excellent genetic pool of Shiloh Shepherds.

Poppy/Cash

Due May 12, 2011- All Plush Expected

The litter evaluation for Brodie/Kachina was special for me because we were also doing our Carter/Phenix litter the same day. I've always been a big fan of Brodie (Cash's sire) and his beautiful movement, but even more especially of Kachina (Cash's dam) for her EXCELLENT "old line" type and for how much she resembled my first Shiloh, Sarge. Kachina and Sarge were both very young dogs when in the ring together. :) Oh....the memories!

And now we have the extremely impressive Cash! He's a fabulous and very typey boy, beautiful movement, super energetic and enthusiastic. It's been awesome to watch this dog mature into the beautiful specimen that he's become, and he's got another year or two before he'll really fill out! There's no question why he does so well at the shows, the winner of numerous Best In Show's and the title of NSBR Grand Victor 2010! But it's even more important to me that he's got such a lovely temperament too! Cash has the height, bone, temperament, movement and overall type that I look for. He's the whole package for Poppy.

I've already written a lot about Poppy on my website, in addition to having many videos of her during her various ages and activities. But to sum her up, she has an exceptional side-gait, a "perfect" (really-truly) tail, beautiful thick muzzle and head structure while still showing her feminine secondary characteristics, a strong earset, VERY dark eyes, and a drop dead gorgeous red-black sable coat. She's passed her beautiful hues on to the majority of the pups from her first litter with Chain, and I expect to see these rich tones in her pups by Cash too. With the much sought after "Carter" as her sire, and the incredibly big boned Artus Look-A-Like "Makeeda" as her dam, Poppy has a lot going for her!

Both Poppy and Cash have OFA 'EXCELLENT' hips, normal elbows and hearts. Poppy also has a "Normal" TLI score, is Brucellosis "negative" and OFA "Normal" for DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), meaning she's not a carrier and she'll not produce this in her progeny. We should be locking in perfect tails, ears, temperament, type and health.

China/Magnus

Due June 1, 2011- All Plush Expected

We are very excited to announce our pairing of China to the "Regal" Magnus! China is a beautifully put together girl, great bone, perfect tail, lovely small ears, and one of the nicest well balanced heads I've seen in a female. She strongly inherited the stunning expression and sweet temperament of her sire Carter (Kai-Lyn's Carter of Mt. Airy) including his expressive vocalizations and compulsion to offer a toy to anyone entering our home. China also has the cutest full-body wiggle when she wags her tail! We expect her to pass all of these sweet personality traits down to her puppies.

Magnus is the highest Obedience pointed Shiloh in Canada, also boasting OFA Excellent hips and exemplary health testing. He is of old lines, carrying much of the Sabrina look such as super heavy bone, incredibly lustrous coat, beautiful mane, plus an excellent sabre tail and a very showy gait. Combined with China, we're anticipating VERY beautiful structure, super bone and stellar heads in the puppies. Certainly a litter to consider for a future show prospect!

This will be China's first litter and Magnus' fourth. China has excellent black pigment and a rich brown-red coat color. She has quite a few grey sables in her pedigree, so we expect to see some stunning grey sable puppies as Magnus is a grey sable himself. Both Magnus and China have medium soft temperaments, keen intuition and very sensitive natures. This pairing may produce some future Therapy or Service Dogs if we're lucky!

Misty/Chaos-Summit

Island Mist Shilohs is delighted to announce the dual-sired breeding of our lovely Misty with posthumous stud Chaos and up-and-coming stud Summit!

Misty is the light of our lives! She has personality plus, with a loving manner, a gentle temperament and an inquisitive nature. Misty is happiest when she is in the middle of any family activity or meeting a new best friend. Misty’s previous litters included puppies that exceeded our expectations, and are cherished by their families.

Chaos was a Grand Victor, as well as a 5x National Select winner, Breed Champion, International World Super Cup Champion in Gold, multiple Veteran Champion and a Canine Good Citizen (CGC). During his show career, Chaos earned more than 25 International All Breed Canine Association (IABCA) titles, making him one of the highest titled Shiloh Shepherds in IABCA history. During his lifetime, Chaos produced some very impressive offspring.

Summit is a large and gorgeous white Shiloh whose conformation achievements include an IABCA International Championship! To date, Summit has sired one litter, with our Misty; his progeny are awesome in structure, temperament, and health.

From this breeding, regardless of sire, we expect outgoing, inquisitive, intelligent puppies with proper conformation, great movement, and excellent health! Puppies will be DNA tested to determine paternity.

I am extremely excited about this pairing. Keira is an extraordinary female...she has one of the best heads I've ever seen...with a short, wide muzzle, perfect dome and well defined stop. On top of that she has a great top line, bone, tail, movement and one of the sweetest, friendliest temperaments around. Our Zeus is a well known guy for his extremely sweet, stable temperament and striking good looks...he has great conformation, beautiful movement and a spark that no one can resist. High Caliber Shilohs and Regal Shilohs are very proud to announce the upcoming breeding of two fantastic Shilohs, Terra and Magnus. Beauty, brains, health, and sweet, gentle temperaments, this pair has it all!

Terra is our beautiful and sweet girl who loves everyone and everything! From conformation and temperament to intelligence and health, we could not be more pleased with our lovely young lady. Terra is a smart and athletic girl with lots of substance. She is a great mover with a gorgeous blocky head and sweet expression, wide chest and good bone, thick, soft coat and beautiful saber tail. In just over six months, Terra earned her breed championship and Rarities/NAKC International Championship, Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International Certificates, a Top Dog award with the NSBR, National Select #8 with the ISSDC, completed beginning and intermediate agility classes and earned more than half the points needed for her NKC championship. In 2010, Terra added a Herding Instinct Certificate and Adult Temperament Test Certificate to her credentials. In the spring and summer of 2010, Terra took a break from her busy schedule to have her first litter with Adirondack Shilohs’ impressive Aquilo. Terra proved to be a wonderful mother, and we were so pleased with her puppies that we decided to keep two of them.

Magnus is an absolutely stunning boy from the foundation lines of the Shiloh breed. Not only has he excelled in the show ring, achieving his breed, Canadian, and IABCA International Championships and a Top Dog award from the NSBR before he was two years old, but he has also proven his impressive working abilities by earning his herding instinct certification, Pre-Companion Dog and Rally Novice Cum Laude obedience designations, and has one more leg to go for his CD title in obedience. Magnus has a large and beautiful head, deep, wide chest, heavy bone, and thick, lush coat in a gorgeous silvery-gray. His flowing movement, regal presence, and noble expression are a joy to behold. All of this is topped off by a fun-loving, gentle and obedient nature. We really couldn’t ask for more!

It is with great anticipation that we look forward to what Terra and Magnus will produce together. Their puppies will all be plush coated and we will likely have mostly sables in a range of lighter gray, cream, and silver colors. We expect these pups to have the broad heads, heavy bone and wide chests from the foundation dogs of the Shiloh breed. The beauty, brains, flowing movement and excellent health of the sire and dam should be passed on to their progeny along with their gentle and obedient nature. These puppies should make excellent show, breeding, or working prospects as well as wonderful companions.

We are thrilled to announce Vienna’s second breeding with the gorgeous Bozley from Zephyr Shilohs owned and loved by Leslie Pike. With this breeding we are anticipating large and soft tempered pups with dark pigment and perhaps some duals. Cinder/Baree

Due Mid-May, 2011 - All Plush Expected

Cinder is an elegant young female who has done very well in the show circuit. She completed her Canadian championship in her first season of showing and went on to earn her American championship in just one weekend in May 2010 in Brookville, PA. Cinder takes life on with exuberant enthusiasm and vigor. She’s very athletic with excellent movement. Nothing is more fun than running through the yard chasing a ball, Frisbee, or squirrel. She has a clever mind and takes notice of everything around her. She’s a great problem solver and even loves to play hide and seek, tag and hockey with our three children.

Baree is a very handsome boy from the Trinity/Carter litter of 2008. Although Baree has never strutted his stuff in a show ring he is a show quality boy. Baree has beautiful conformation which includes a proper topline, heavy bone, nice movement, proper tail, straight front and back and good head. Baree is a very sweet, affectionate, laidback boy with no prey drive and a very happy disposition.

I am very excited about this breeding and expect that we will see gorgeous, big puppies with excellent temperaments and health. Puppies will be all plush in mainly sables of rich, dark pigment. We will have excellent show, breeding and working puppies as well as pups that will be loving family companions. These puppies are the whole package, beauty, brains and brawn.
